Schedule a report daily, weekly or monthly, map each recipient to their slice of the data, and check the delivery history of every run. Readers can also subscribe themselves, with their own access.

  • Two builders

    A block editor for narrative documents, and a paginated builder for grouped data whose subtotals and grand totals flow across as many pages as it needs.

  • Page setup

    Choose the paper size, and portrait or landscape, for each report.

  • Parameters

    Promptable filters that readers fill in when they view or export, so one report serves every region, period or team.

  • Themes

    Reports use the same theme catalog as dashboards, and scheduled copies are delivered with their theme applied.

  • Scheduled delivery

    Daily, weekly or monthly, at the time and timezone you choose, with a test send first and a delivery history of sent, partial and failed runs.

  • Subscriptions

    Anyone who can view a report can subscribe to it. Their copy is rendered with their own data permissions, and deliveries stop if they lose access.

Inside Reports

Files that travel well

The HTML export is self-contained: charts are inline, it renders with the network unplugged, and opening it makes no outbound request. PDF (exact preview) captures every page as it looks on screen.

  • Exports honor the report’s parameters
  • Metric tiles keep row-level security in every format
  • Author-written text is sanitized on the way out

Add any dashboard card to a report from the card’s menu, then arrange it with text, tables and images on the page.

Which formats are supported?
Reports export on demand to PDF, Excel, PowerPoint, CSV and HTML, and PDF can also capture every page exactly as previewed. Scheduled deliveries go out in the format you choose, and paginated reports can also be delivered as Word documents.
Can different recipients get different data?
Yes. Data-driven delivery maps each recipient to a value of a filter column, so every recipient receives the report filtered to their slice: each regional manager gets their region.
Can people get a report without asking the author?
Yes. Anyone who can view a report can subscribe to it on their own schedule and format. The email goes only to them, rendered with their own data permissions, and an author can’t change it.
Do exports respect row-level security?
Yes. KPI tiles bound to a governed metric are evaluated with the model’s row-level security in every format, and subscribed copies render with the subscriber’s own permissions.
